By this I mean that be it through blogs, myspace, facebook, twitter, etc... we have A LOT of unfiltered, uncensored, no credentials needed, public speaking and conversing going on and I see a delicate balance of the pros and cons this "freedom of tech speech" is creating.

Best Times on(under) the West Side Highway......

While Nore had folk risking life and limb trying to "start getting head on the West Side Highway" I realized that adrenaline rush aside, I could get into a lot more pleasure under the highway then on it. Strictly by accident did we realize this convenient hideaway. But it quickly became our spot for spontaneous activity when traveling between point A and B. Perhaps that's why I have a hard time seeing myself in anything other then a SUV. You see what made this special to me wasn't so much the activity as we had made various "stops" around Manhattan but this lady wasn't the type with sex on the brain 24/7 (at least not around me) but when she wanted to let loose it was a marvelous thing. To this day I remember one stormy night session that concluded with her saying "I do that because I love the sounds you make.It let's me know I'm going a good job." OMG Can you top that?!?! I mean really? Sexy, sweet and considerate. They don't make'em like that anymore.

And that's what I missed more then anything.Beyond the ,with the intent and goal to make me happy. I never got what was so great about me to warrant that treatment but damn it's hard to drive by that FDR exit without revisiting those times we had.
But it's never to late to create new memories......

Motivational Words for a Memorial Day Weekend

While reading the newest issue of Men's Health(reading an actual magazine yeah it still happens) I came across a feature on Tyrese. Now I wasn't a fan of his originally. I remember thinking who's these brother singing and smiling about Coca Cola. Buuuuut, after Baby Boy i was like "Ok , he cool." I respect his work ethic and now I see him as an actor more so then a music maker(Lets over look that rapping alter ego thing he does,ok?). Anyway, the article speaks on him dealing with the complacency of stardom and how it had him some 50 lbs over weight. It then spoke on the direction and guidance he received from Will Smith and got him on point again.Smith shared this bit of advice....

The Five people you spend most of your time with will dictate how far your career and your life will go.

It makes sense.It's hard to progress when you fill your time with people that themselves aren't looking to progress. Just take a moment and think of who you spend your time with. I'm thating that will statement deep into my consciousness and internalizing it for those moments when certain people look to get a little too much of my time.

Time is far too valuable and impossible to re claim once lost.Thanks to the Fresh Prince for the inspirational spark.

Yeah you already know. Hitting the mid week point always gives me a jolt of energy. So today's hump day thought process for me is not the act but the images that result from, lead to or are in relation to the act of humppington. For example, watching my lady lay around on the bed, hair all wild, wearing my shirt and nothing else while surfing the internets on her laptop. So simple a picture yet too me so sexy and capable of setting emotions off for no real reason. It's something about seeing my partner 100% comfortable within my area that I really like.

Monday Madness

Ummmm yeah. Here we go....

This month is almost over already??!What?Memorial day is next week and I feel like 2 weeks behind. Finances are a little tight.Not unexpectedly but still tight.

The fitness side of things is going great but on the flip side I need to take a couple hrs and make some real progress in this book.

I need some relief....that's an open ended statement as relief can be any number of things.

Other random stuff.......Swizz Beats finally speaks on Alicia(anyone that can find love iSUPPORT).......Boston gets sent home(Tuff Break Rondo)......I find that Boyfriend #2 Song to be silly as hell.......The world still seem to be Drake crazy(I'm still not sure what it is but maybe I'll catch on later.)......I'm waiting on an answer to a question that may or may not severely effect a friendship.....Had a great Nexus meeting.......breakfast is never filling enough for me anymore......want IHOP.

Lessons......

The guardian in me wants to help always. When my folk aren't happy I try to fix it the best I can. But sometimes good intentions can still have less then stellar results....

Wayman Tisdale died this morning at the age of 44 after battling cancer for the last 2 years. Damn he was one of the NBA's real good guys.

Wayman Tisdale, a three-time All-American at Oklahoma who played 12 seasons in the NBA, died after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 44.

Tisdale died Friday morning at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, hospital spokeswoman Joy McGill said.

After three years at Oklahoma, Tisdale played in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns. The 6-foot-9 forward, with a soft left-handed touch on the court and a wide smile off it, averaged 15.3 points for his career. He was on the U.S. team that won the gold medal in the 1984 Olympics.

After basketball, he became an award-winning jazz musician, with several albums making the top 10 on the Billboard charts.

"Wayman Tisdale is one of the best people I have ever had the privilege of knowing," Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel said in a statement. "He had an incredible gift of making the people who came in contact with him feel incredibly special."

Tisdale's death was announced on the Oklahoma Senate floor Friday by Senate Majority Leader Todd Lamb, who led the chamber in prayer.

"Whether you're a Cowboy or a Sooner, Oklahoma has lost a great ambassador," Lamb said. "He was a gifted musician, a gifted athlete and he just wore that well wherever he went."

It's so Hard to Say Good Bye: Hump Day Edition

I'd like to take this moment to say farewell to two Hump worthy ladies. Ms. Lauren London and Ms. Alicia Keys.




While i know shes done other things, Lauren = "New New" to me. I never found her ultra sexy drop dead beautiful but attractive in an every day gurl, low maintenance type of way.Like she'd be just as cute waking up in the morning as she is out and about. But as these "Preg with Lil Wayne's baby" reports swirl through the internets I must take a step back. You will be missed on this day.




Now this one is tuff.Ms Keys has been BEYOND Hump worthy to me for nearly a decade so it's with a heavy hear that I release her. I don't know what it is but you ever just have something or find out something that effects the way your see or view a person.
