2010 looking better already.......
Variety reports that creator Aaron McGruder announced via his twitter account the return of his critically acclaimed series The Boondocks after a two-year hiatus. Currently in production, the show’s third season will premiere in early 2010. “Finally got an airdate for Season 3,” McGrudertweeted. “Not sure if I’m allowed to put it out yet, so I’ll just say you got about three months!”
The Boondocks originally premiered in November 2005 on Adult Swim for a 15-episode season. Based on the long-running newspaper strip written and drawn by McGruder, the show followed the lives of the black Freeman family and their exploits in a predominately white, high-class neighborhood. Since airing, the show has been nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series at the 37th NAACP Image Awards and has won a Peabody Award for the episode “Return of the King,” which imagined what Martin Luther King, Jr. would think of the current racial climate in America were he alive today.

While stumping deep thinkers the world over as to why she's in the position she's in. Amber has been the ultimate example of a opportunist, milking whatever this is for all its worth. Y2-what? Zune gets off to a bad start
Technically it was a New Year's Eve surprise. But many owners of Microsoft's Zune media player started 2009 with little more than a paperweight with LED lights.
At midnight on December 31, all Zune's 30-GB MP3 players froze up. Microsoft explained the problem as a problem with the way the device's internal clock recognized (or didn't recognize) leap years.
The glitch only lasted a day, but didn't help a device that was already failing to gain ground on Apple's iPod.
TwitterPeek fails to pique interest
The reaction of many in the tech community to the release of the TwitterPeek device was a collective, "Huh?"
Sure, there are some people who don't have smartphones and don't want to pay for expensive mobile plans. But is there really a market for a $199 device that does nothing but let you manage yourTwitter feed?
"I already have a $200 device to update Twitter," said one techie we spoke to. "It's called my iPhone."
The folks at Peek, makers of TwitterPeek, had already made the Pronto -- a device that handled only texts and e-mails. Maybe a combination of the two gadgets is in the works. But even then, would enough people be interested? Probably not.

Holiday Fail of EPIC proportions
I planned and organized the company party from start to finish this yr. In addition, with the provided budget I lined up an array of gift cards to make sure the employee, many of whom would be out of a job in 6 weeks, would get something they could use.$100 cards for Best Buy, Jet Blue, Victoria's Secret, etc,etc....All that was needed was my managers approval.
He didn't approve and went in a different direction.

Just things I say or have said recently...
Everyone has their place. Some people are multi-faceted while others are more single minded. Once you know who is good at what then things move very smoothly, your stress should decrease and productivity should go up.
If there's one thing this year is showing me is that you have to stay on top of your physical well being. I know people don't like doctors but it can be life saving identitifying something today that could become fatal down the road. Diet, fitness, moderation, common sense....it'll serve you well in the end.
When Mr "Right Now's" eyes move on the next attractive female it'll hurt but you'll get over it. I just hope while you were so focused on him you didn't disrespect Mr. "Always been there" cuz when he leaves you won't get over it.

We are very different in some things. He's more blue collar. He's got the rougher hands from working with them all day. Sometimes he gets bruises. Sometimes he makes spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes, and he doesn't seem to want to get into these deep thinker conversations all the time, but I still love him. That's why I love him. Because he goes against damn near everything I thought made a man perfect and still loves me, and is perfect for me in his own way (not to mention that talking about airplanes and tools and stuff is a turn on).
I'm glad I let my guard down otherwise I would've missed out on him.
My counselor told me one time that the kind of guy I wanted would be larger than life, and would probably kill me in an effort to match my will and intensity, especially when I am upset. That's some serious shit.

Friday Fail
Sorry but I gotta do it. This week's Fail is actually one out of a whole week of Fails by Ms. Nikks. Now in truth many of those aren't her fault. But I gotta feature this section. :P
I have an oversized coach bag that I use as my practice baby’s diaper bag. My beautiful little Fatima Rex (Fatima because my friend says she looks like a little Somalian child that should be called Fatima. Rex because my brother convinced my mother’s day care 3 year olds that she is a baby dinosaur, namely a T-Rex). Anyway her milk was in her bottle, in a ziplock bag, in my coach bag and as my brother is driving us, I smell milk. I look and my bag is full of milk. FML.
Hmm, my iPhone and Blackberry are also swimming in the milk in my bag. Little Miss a.k.a Fatima Rex, finds my sighs and muffled curse words funny, because she’s cooing, giggling, and kicking her chubby little five month old legs. FML.
My iPhone is done, dead, closes casket, #fail, buried. FML.

It's no mystery that as a guy same things are very simple about us. We like to be visually stimulated and we like to hear things. Dirty whispers, pet names whatever....hell just say what it is you wanna do. All I'm saying is that if u want a guy to feel wanted there's no reason you should fail at making that happen. The resources are too vast. So if you can't keep his attention then you may need to turn your creativity and imagination up a few notches.

And with that simple statement it now makes me ask a question.Which would you prefer? A partner you are attracted to but who is weak when it comes to acting on and initiating more activity or a person your not as attracted to but who goes all out to in the "Sight and Sound" Dept?

So I gotta throw this out and officially get it off my chest.
After this past weekend I am more then happy to stay my ass home and avoid anything that will cost my more $$$ prior to Xmas. The exception is when one of my or my peoples connects results in free admission (and free drinks) in which case I'm all in. So tonight Evita came thru with the info for a Black Hennessy party It was free Henny and Black Jack Table set up amongst the crowd while Power 105's Dj Kut worked the wheels of steel.
So anyway, not to boast but I was serving everyone up on the black jack table. The player with the most chips by a certain time wins a prize from Hennessy so you knoooow I was game for that.I was doing my thing steadily approaching victory when this lame that was clearly out of the running decides to fold and leave the game. But instead of giving his chips to dealer, he gives all his chips to the female to was closest to me in chip count thus putting her over me and gave her the win. I shook her hand and congratulated her for the win.It's not her fault that homeboy was a damn simp.
He said "I had to do it she's cute."
Um, naw she really wasn't but for such a lame ass move I hope you got her number.....Simp.

Ok, there's nothing wrong with "keeping it real" when the time is appropriate but I'm sorry, there is nothing worse then an adult that doesn't know how to leave the hood at home when operating at work.
I'm not talking about the street skills that keep you with your eyes open ready to take advantage of an opportunity that others may not see. I mean the elements of it that make you wonder if so many of those stereotypes might be more on point then you want to admit. Do any of y'all have that extra loud co worker? The one that takes a personal phone call and then seems to be on the phone all day while broadcasting just how much her life sucks? Of course she thinks her life is the shit buuuuuuut we know better. And when you speak to this person she has any number of reasons why the other females in the office are "fake or shady" No, they just no better then deal with yo ass, screaming about their delinquent family members less then 12 feet from the Presidents office. How the hell you put the most ghetto person in the building as the receptionist?

Jaden Smith: The New Karate Kid
Another 80’s favorite, The Karate Kid, is scheduled to make its way back into the box office with an opening date of June 11, 2010. The film stars Jaden Smith (Will & Jada Smith’s youngest son) who plays the revamped version of Daniel-San, Taraji P. Henson (as his mother), and Jackie Chan. In this version, pressures of work cause Henson to move to china with her young son, where the boy is taught karate by Chan, the new age Mr. Miyagi.
We'll see how this turns out.But there is only ONE Karate Kid!!!!
