You can replace "Affection" with a series of other words. For many, all they want is for you to acknowledge them. Once you've done that they care little of what you want.....

Wow...talk about speaking to my thoughts at the moment. What's up with this lack of respect for anyone but self these days?
But you notice how the ppl who do that fail to get what they want in life? They end up living life like a hamster on a wheel...running and running and runnning until they wear their lil slow self out. The more you get, the more you need to give.
A few self-centered ppl shouldnt stop us from expecting the best from ppl.
