A Reminder of Perspective....

Life is interesting and never short on "lessons" the world is full of view points far different from mine. What is done with good intention isn't always seen as such. It shouldn't be this way but it is. It genuinely makes me a lil sad but I've shaken it off before I'll be it again. In the mean time I have to deal with no hesitation before click the "Like" button. Smh.......

iSupport: ¡Fly by CoCo Latina! is off to Russia

My homie Frankie is on her grind fund raising for her upcoming journey to Russia for new business and adventure. In February 2011, I started a journey to travel my way around the world. It has been a bittersweet yet life altering journey thus far. I was blessed to see the wonders of the world and wanted to express my experiences through my writing. So I created my blog, ¡Fly by CoCo Latina! Through my writing, pictures and videos I am able to bring you, the reader with me. Whether I am going through tribulations or recalling a hysterical moment from my journey, I am honored to know that I can share these very personal moments with you! I am so thankful for all of my fans and readers in supporting me emotionally and spiritually through this nomadic life that I am simply just trying to live my best at. Since then I have been trying to find a consistent way of traveling, and I have found my way!

When Dreams Become Plans Then a Reality

It's been defined in the creative line of my mind years ago....expressed via the digital communications of these Internets...lived out in the actions and support giving to many for the past decade. Now I take something that has been an essential part of me and made it tangible and legitimate. It's deeper that business, taxes applications and write offs. Its the evolution of me.

Nomadness Tribe KickStarter Update 100 Strong!!!!!!!

Good Morning, Happy Hump Day and Happy Leap Day. Hope all is well with you folk. I’m here sending a message to my family, friends, partners, and associates, anyone that takes a moment out of their day to pay attention to what I say or do. Some of you may have noticed others not so much that I’m a part of a collective called the Nomad Travel Tribe. Led by Evita Robinson it’s a group now standing 1600+ members focused on the concepts of international travel and progressive growth through the idea of expanding ones view on the world. This group of business people, media experts, corporate execs, writers, artists and more are making a big statement in a world that seems more concerned with reality house wives and sports groupies. The young, enterprising youth is alive and well.

We are currently in the midst of a fund raiser to support the upcoming events, activities and products of our group. We are aiming for AT LEAST $10,000 by midnight on March 31st. currently a 1/3 of the way though we have risen over $4000 via the support of nearly 90 people. Thanks to all who pledged, it’s greatly appreciated.
We are currently in our 100 Strong week. This is a focus not on dollar value but on support level. It only required $1 and an amazon.com account to support our cause, so I’m asking you all. People who have grown up with me, partied, drank, celebrated; done all these things over the years to please do what you can to aid this project. If you can give money that is great but you can also be of huge value by passing the word to your people. Again thanks for your time and support.

Layla Sola x Uptown Collective Q & A

On the heels of her "Shit Mixed Girls Say..." video Ms Layla Sola has nice 1 on 1 session Led Black from The Uptown Collective. Here's an excerpt from their convo as Layla shares some of her beliefs.

" I am my own Hero is a creed that I live life by. I’ve always thought that as I mature, one of the hardest things to do would be to hold onto the integrity of my true self as life’s challenges confronted me. It’s a struggle, and I think one of the best ways to remain steadfast is to live life with passion and to be true to your inner voice. I am my own hero means being someone you can respect and feel proud of no matter what happens. The series draws on the inner strength of its subjects. Many of the subjects are inspirational people who I believe represent the very essence of I am my own Hero, such as Malcolm X, Thurgood Marshall, Billie Jean King or Steven Hawking; and these people I call Superheroes."

From the Motherland Ms Conner Has a Noble Cause

Checking in from South Africa Stephanie has a message of support that I'm fully behind and want to spread to you folk as well. Check it out and give what you can.

I just met the most phenomenal woman at my "office" and she told me about the project she has to get shoes on children here in South Africa. She said millions of children in Africa walk to school barefoot daily. These innovative shoes are made in a way that they actually grow 2 sizes bigger and are virtually indestructible, so each child that has them can almost guarantee that they will have them for quite some time. The shoes are R100 (it's about $12 bucks right now with conversion). I think its an amazing cause to donate to!         -Stephanie
