Turn on the radio today and you’re still liable to hear a classic song from Bob Marley, the reggae icon whose music touches and inspires listeners with each new generation. An upcoming documentary film from Magnolia Pictures tells the story of the man behind the legend, from his humble beginnings through his rise to superstardom, featuring rare behind the scenes footage, live performances and interviews with friends and family members. Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald (One Day in September, The Last King of Scotland), Marley will makes it worldwide debut at the Berlin International Film Festival this month, followed by the American premier at SXSW.
