New Rules

*Yahoo New Story On New Concerns*

So the U.S freed the hostage Sea Captain through Sniper fire killing 3 of the Somali pirates. Nice to know the guy was rescued but I can't help but think that the game has changed now. And that those "pirates" won't be the last folk to lose their lives over this.

Who would imagine that in 2009 Pirates would be a global issue?

I'm w/ Laalaa...

Piracy is only a new issue to the ignorant (not saying that you're ignorant). People think of " hooks " and " treasure chests " when the word "Pirate" is mentioned... but it's a very real, very dangerous, very common risk in the open sea.

Did you HEAR how many other people were held hostage by the somali soldiers? And it's not just THERE! It's quite interesting how rampant it is, and how much money the pirates actually make...

Somalia has no legal system in place that punishes pirates... If they can get back to their land...they're home free.
