I Love How She Loves Us

Not gonna put her on front street but I have a friend and we talk about a wide variety stuff all the time. And many times I'll joke with her and say

"It's ok. You'll always be good with me because you loooooovvve black men."

It's usually said in a light playful way but the last time it was said her reply was a heartfelt and sincere;

"Yes, I really do. And I'm not afraid to say so."

I can't even begin to express how good that felt.I never have asked why she does. I'm more then content with the fact that she does. It's good to get some sort of counter to the onslaught of negativity thrown against the black man. No need for a racism rant right now. I just needed to acknowledge her and thank her.
