Sex Obsessed???

1. Compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or an unwanted feeling or emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety.
2. A compulsive, often unreasonable idea or emotion.

The inspiration for this came not from the actual entry but the comments over on JAG's blog on Obsession. A lot of the comments mentioned that people were obsessed with sex. I always find that funny when I hear it, especially from adults. Given the definition above, are folk REALLY obsessed with sex? Or is it just something that sounds nice to say and in actuality it's just something we really like and enjoy more so then other things?

To those that TRULY feel that sex is an obsession I'd love to hear why you feel that why?Or what are/were examples of these sexually obsessive behavior? Remember, "compulsive" and "Unreasonable"

I can honestly say I'm recovering from a true sex obsession. Or perhaps it would even be safe to say that I am indeed Obsessed over sex.

I will play off of the 2nd definition you provided, "A Compulsive, often unreasonable idea or emotion". And in my case, the unreasonable idea is sex everday. And the unreasonable emotion is that of pure Pleasure of which would be delivered by a daily orgasam that derived from SEX EVERYDAY.

HENCE, the reason I am recovering. I no longer act on this obssession. My obssession with sex kept me in my fucked up relationship for too long.

Hell my name is The Single Dame, and YES, I'm OBSSESSED WITH SEX.

Forever Fabulous,
The Single Dame

errr... finding yourself driving to ill ass parts of town at crackhead hours just for some wood would constitute as unreasonable, right? Can the thought of wanting to fulfill a sexual desire or daydreaming about your next sexual posistion not be accompanied with anxiety?

@ Tori
Yeah will do

@ Single Dame
You may be obsessed or well conditioned.The desire for a daily orgasm isn't unreasonable IF you actually were having one daily.Then you mere want what you have conditioned yourself to expect.

@Khaki
Daydreaming and fantasizing seems rather normal I think. Now as far as travel yes that's a more concrete action that can be defined as unreasonable. lol
