How do you know when you've found the one?
How do you know when the one you thought was the one wasn't really the one?
How far do you do to find out?
How much is common logic and how much pure emotion?
Is there anything more cruel then to not be able to be with some one you love.
Is it worst to be able to be with them only to see it fail.
How many chances do you get discover these answers.
God's taking my mind here for a reason. In the midst of all that's in my head, I know I'm being shown something....I just hope I get it right.

@Daddy NightFall....I ask myself these questions in various forms, damn near daily. And I know these questions may have been rhetorical, yet I felt like answering them.
How do you know when you've found the one? **You Just Know. Your SOUL will FEEL it....**
How do you know when the one you thought was the one wasn't really the one? **You know they aren't the one, the very day you open your eyes and accpet all truths in their purest form, in exchange for all the lies & deceite & socially ascribed wants that you've desired for so long in exchage for what you ONCE THOUGHT was LOVE....**
How far do you do to find out? **All you can do is allow time to pass and allow yourself to grow**
How much is common logic and how much pure emotion? **Hmmmm.....this ratio may vary person to person**
Is there anything more cruel then to not be able to be with some one you love? *I'm sure there are things more cruel....Yet I feel this pain now and DAMN IT HURTS LIKE HELL**
Is it worst to be able to be with them only to see it fail. **I'de rather see it fail...then to spend the rest of my life wondering what could have been......**

I wish I could answer these questions myself.
I made a very real realization today.
I have loved someone more than this. I have been deeper in love, more selfless, more self-sacrificing, just more.
That is hard to note, considering how well off I felt he and I were. Space is making me realize, the more I thought I knew, the less I really know.
I have always has the internal dilemma...when do you fight for love, and when is it best to let fade to black?

Recently i've been feeling the same way as you... its crazy not knowing if you're on the right path or not. NICE BLOG! I hope it wrks out for both of us...
You know that feeling you get when you've finally found the person you think is the one...the person who has swept you off your feet and made you feel things you thought you were incapable of feeling...and when you're away from that person, it feels like a giant penguin is sitting on your chest and you can't breathe because you miss them so much...but when you're around that person, you're overwhelmed, sitting on cloud 47 and you have butterflies in your gut? that's how you know that person is NOT the one. it's just gas and the best thing to do is take some pepto bismol. Leave that kinda love to Barbie & Ken because that's as real as it is. Real love isn't perfect and it sure as hell isn't easy.
Is this the plot for a romance comedy starring Matthew Mcconaughey coming out next spring?? Give me a break!
I thought I had found the one for me a few years back. Wasted 4 years, but I learned a lot since this. I know what I want and what I will not accept. I've been happily single for 3 years now..but I refuse to settle.
My brain is always thinking a million thoughts per minute so I feel you on this one...
I know that when it feels right, you probably wont question it. Just like that talent you've nurtured since childhood whether it be an athletic, musical, or artistic ability..you dont question your talent because its all you,and you know that nothing brings you more joy than to do it. I feel like the same can apply to love...zero tolerance for hesitation?
I know that when it doesnt feel right we may know this but often ignore the feelings because of lack of "tangible" evidence or curiosity.
I ddnt know where Im going with this...but I felt compelled to comment.

simple. You just feel it in your soul. They usually give you butterflies inside and you never want to be away from them.
