Sammy Sosa's skin switch has had everyone a lil confused. But Slammin' Sammy spoke on it pretty matter-of-factly.
“I use a cream to keep my skin smooth and soft. I apply it before I go to bed. When I was playing for Chicago all those years, I was in the sun a lot for 1 o’clock games,”
“The flashes (from the cameras) also made my skin look lighter. I’m surprised with the controversy this has caused.”
Sosa wouldn't give the actual name of the cream he's using as he is in negotiations to promote this European product.But with that said, don't be surprised if 2010 produces a few more changes in pigmentation.

umm i was gonna be nice but the more i think about it the more pissed off i get. women in africa are damn near killing and disfiguring themselves to bleach their skin to fit some fucked up notion of beauty. as a role model it was a selfish move on his part. what are all the little dark skinned boys that look up to him going to think?
p.s. he really does look sick and cartoon like. and his excuse is lame. my ex plays football and got remarkably darker while practicing in the summer but his skin gradually went back to its' natural tone, no skin bleach needed!
Lord have mercy....remember the post I did that discussed skin bleaching? Well all those creams are created by European manufactuers smh

Yeah it's crazy and sends an ill message but at this point I'm like whatever. If folk still have skin tone complexes then its whatever. I know over here among me and my people. We stay down for the brown. I wouldn't have it any other way.
