Is Jay So Far Beyond Hip Hop......If You On The Court Then Ball!!!!!

Industry heavyweight Steve Stoute was recently quoted in an upcoming interview, his thoughts towards Jay-Z & Lil Wayne. Steve expressed the following.
‘For Jay-Z to do ANYTHING that resembles moving backwards right now would be insane. And a Jay-Z beef is moving backwards. Jay is SO MUCH bigger than rap at this point. He’s a movement. And THAT’S where his head is at. That’s where his focus is. And NO ONE is on his level, even worthy of him battling with. No one. So you probably won’t see that happen.’
See I get the level that Jay is on. I get the financial status, mega mogul position and all that but aside from all the big business man talk is the fact that Jay still RAPS! Just like Jordan was for the majority of his career "bigger" then the NBA, he still played the game. He ain't have to check Iverson but he did and he got crossed. How would he sound saying I'm too big to guard you? Jay and Wayne, while on different "levels" still occupy much of the same space in regards to the listening public. Now am I saying Jay needs to drop a Dj P Cutta beef mixtape worth of content? No, of course not, but as a participant of the game I'd like to see him address this. It one thing if the idea is that you're too good to compete with but if you're "bigger" then the field you operate in then perhaps you do need to leave.

The above is the realest shit I never wrote! Rappers do this to each other all the time and it doesn't have to get to a I'm gon' kill you when I see you level, just a healthy battle of lyrical wit with guidelines.

I think it's a great way to keep sharp and it's sort of like an exercise.
