What things do we value? Who or what do we put above other things? The title of this post is a lil misleading because this isn't about Pu$$y or as Steve Harvey says "The Cookie". This is just about females in general and a statement a friend made to me that came to mind.(And no I don't refer to females as Pu$$y either I'm just quoting my boy) Anyway, after telling him something a friend did that had urked me a bit he said the following:
"You gotta stop putting pussy on such a high pedestal man. The truth is no matter how much of a princess or angel you want to see a girl out to be, they burp, drink, smoke, curse, fight, piss and get down just like us. That's right, when the urge hits them their going to get it in just like we do. So no point being surprised by it.Don't get me wrong. Some women might do everything I said 24/7 and some may only do a few here and there, but their no angels. They do what they want when they want.Don't put them on a pedestal just keep them near you and keep them from falling off the best you can."
I always found that to be an interesting view.just Thinking out loud.

hi! i've seen you post on jae's blog all the time, but i'm just coming over here. Love your blog!
i agree with what your man says to a degree. i don't think i would say that guys put us on pedestals, but i do think that there are unreasonable expectations that we don't do any of the bodily things you mention above or even some of the grimmey things you guys do. as far as the bodily functions, i think guys would save themselves a lot of trauma by just accepting it before they have to witness it. but in terms of the things people do, i think you just have to choose people based on their merit as a person rather than having unreasonable expectations of a whole group.
ps: sorry for the thesis and all...
I agree wholeheartedly w/ your friend. Men put us on a pedistal and then get pissed at US when we don't live up to THEIR unrealistic expectations.
I think this goes farther than the bodily functions thing. I think it goes as far as the way you guys believe we should react when YOU Fuck up. Like we're supposed to be wonderfully soft and submissive. Happy that we have you and overlooking all of your faults.
Ppft! What The -falk- ever!
People need to be realistic. See who you're ACTUALLY with, instead of who you'd LIKE for them to be.

Thanks for joining. :)
Well I think for clarification sake I should mention that the conversation that spawned this quote wasn't about females and "bodily functions" I think that was just what my boy said, among other things that people view traditionally as unladylike.

Um yeah that sounds a lil personal.Wasn't going NEARLY that deep into it. :P
When speaking about the "Pedestal", I'm old school.I like the woman in my circle (friends/partners) to be strong self sufficient people no doubt.
But I love females for the fact that your females. It's not about judging or laying unreasonable expectations its just how I see things and what I like. Yes I do prefer a woman be able to express herself without cursing up a storm, yes I wish there to be a bit of discretion when speaking on some sexual matters (explicit adult business should be behind closed doors).Yes there is a certain respect it would be nice to carry your self with.
I don't feel bad because I view females, generally speaking, above men. Those that know me and how I handle things might have a better idea of what I'm expressing then someone just reading this.
Just thought of a new blog topic. :)
