We all know people who can talk and talk about what they do, can do, etc,etc.But How many people do we know that live up to their own hype? Or is it usually the silent ones that show and prove?

It's def the silent ones that can show and prove when needed!!! I'll stand by that foreva! 2many times people talk mad junk and when its time to step up- they fail! F!!!
I agree with Kenya, people who talk too much are usually those with low self esteem, they always have to talk to prove themselves with words... by their actions and its sad. Im a quiet one, and i simply ignore chatterboxes, they hate that LMAO.
I tend to think that loud people are that way simply for a hunger for attention. No one really retains what loud people say, all they remember is the loudness. One thing I really can't stand is a loud man...lawd!
wow you are so right on this one lol folk that wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight lol
They say that, and I know it's true...but then you got introverted folks like me who carry my strong silent type game to the boardroom or at a job interview..and I often get overlooked. I also notice in the corporate world that the loud friendly types always get the promotions and wanna secretly come and ask me how to do they job..even though they were hyping themselves up at the interview or infront of the boss...too busy smoozing, not enough time paying attention...smh..but that's life!!!
i get where you are going with this...but here are my two cents...there is a difference between just BEING LOUD and BEING LOUD with PURPOSE....because closed mouths don't get fed...that's a true statement...and yes there is strength in silence...but as stated by goddess, sometimes silence get's you overlooked..
i think there are just as many people out there who can back their own hype up as there are those who CAN'T...
i think you feel strongly about this as someone of quiet strength..lol...
i say a good balance of knowing when you need to make some noise and when it is good to sit back and observe is healthy...neither is better than the other..
coming from an occassionally silent LOUD WITH PURPOSE individual!
@Kenya
Yeah. "when needed" That's the most important factor.
@Divinely.Intelligent.Vividly.Artistic I see that a lot online. Tons of cyber talk and I'm like, wait I know you in real life. You're not what you're portraying in your words.
@Curvy
So tru.The fastest turn off to me is a loud female....just loud for no reason.
@Empress
Yeah, soft as tissue.....
@Goddess.
You most definitely have to know when to make your presence felt.Especially in business.
@What Jillz, you LOUD?Naawww.lol
But yeah when done with purpose then its a productive things mos def. Very much a balancing act.
