Look at what's on folk's minds these days......

So in the midst of the holiday downtime I can't help but see the stuff that's hitting the pc screens and more so then that, the reactions of people to it all. Maybe it's just me but is its really that surprising the things that make the headlines? Are we really that hard pressed for topics to converse about about? Sometimes it feels that the ease that we have to spread and share info is coming at the price of the quality of a subject. It's getting harder and harder to pick the legit writers from the bloggers that are here for a brief stay between the transition from Myspace to Facebook to Twitter. Soooo let's dive into some random shit just to get it out of the way....



Lets stop and think bout this. I mean a powerful, rich athlete is cheating on his wife with multiple females. Sounds like an regular time in professional (and some collegiate) sports. I'm still curious as to why folk care and lets not even get into the whole Tiger's black/not black stuff.

Here's another topic that's had me laffing especially since it topped of the new year. Jay-Z aka Illuminati Supreme aka Rihanna's Devil worshiping buddy dropped his new video at midnite 01/01/10 featuring Swizz Beats and the conspiracy types went nuts. Smh. The ability to manipulate and pull strings is clearly something Jay has in abundance.



My question comes down to this. Let's just say Jay is really a part of some cult like group......so what? A) His "subliminal" messages are going over most folks heads and B) What army is following him to be controled or mislead? And if you say the kids that listen to his music then you need holla at the parents before scream at the screen hoping Rhi-Rhi and Co. hear it. But I gotta say this one is my fave. The never boring and never ending studies and documentaries into the eternally incapable coexistence of the black woman and black man. You're too independent, I'm too in Jail, You're too much like a man, I'm too looking for someone like my mom, You're so judgmental of us, I'm so better off with other races of women......blah,blah,blah, the Almanac of anger black men and woman volume 335.



Now if someone would show more of what's good and positive about marriage instead of scaring folk off and highlighting these slanted and misleading statistics maybe things would get better, but that aint happening. Us being single and disgruntled = a prime audience for reality t.v.
