While I've said before the Love is the most powerful thing on this planet, I may have been mistaken or at least a little premature in labeling Love as the undisputed champion. Apparently there is something that can stop Love in it's tracks......Morning Breath. This question came up last summer and I've just randomly asked a few people their views on it. Is an open mouth kiss ok first thing in the morning? 95% of the replies I got said no. Well they actually said "No, Hell No, That's nasty, Never, Nope, Eeewww, He better brush his teeth first, Morning sex yes but no kissing....etc,etc" This surprised me cuz these were the female replies. Women, the we need emotion, we need love and affection creatures of our human race all turning down this show of ultimate loving expression???
Now I can understand that this type of display A)Should be reserved for only the most loving of situations/partner ans B)It's not an everything day either but I think at, least for me, to roll over and want that with your mate is showing a great deal of affection. Yeah, does brushing ya teeth only take a few minutes?Yes, but the same can be said for getting and putting on a condom too so CLEARLY things aren't always about pure logic. Maybe I'm just odd. Similarly my woman coming in from the gym is appealing as well and I might not let her get to the shower.....
I don't know.Just thoughts. Speak on it....

eh... so... no spontaneous morning sex unless it's doggy style??? Uhm, i dont mind morning breath... BUT... i refuse to kiss a dude that eats ass. thats just me.
I once *tried* to kiss a guy after we both ate the pollo guajira (lots of garlic/onions) from Guantanamera in NYC (if you're ever there, order it! it's AMAZING). ANYWAY, dude handed me a stick of gum, hugged me and walked away. I never saw him again. After that, I was SCARRED for life so I keep mouthwash, gum and mints on hand. I don't play around with stank breath.
Have you ever seen that episode of A Different World where Whitley wakes up a couple of minutes before DeWayne and goes into the bathroom to fluff her hair, brush her teeth & put on some makeup...then she lies back down in bed before Dewayne's alarm goes off and pretends to be sleeping angelically? That's me!
It's weird because I'm perfectly ok with my guy being grungy or having morning breath. it's real. it's masculine. guys are supposed to be sweaty, scratch, burp and all that other stuff.
honestly...believe it or not, i've never had a bad experience. i've only had morning breath kisses with 3 guys [1 i was in love with] and their breath was never bad. i personally brush RIGHT before bed so when i wake up i'm fressssh aka ripe for the kissing. morning kisses lead to morning sex so i'm always game :] as far as being cute in the AM it depends because if i slept TOO well there's more than likely some drool on my cheek lmfao.

I have no problem with morning kisses. If he is willing to lean over and kiss me in the morning, I'll kiss him back. Im not going to trip over his breathe, I mean it is early as shit. But Ive only shared morning kisses with one guy and I loved him. He always woke me up like that, i thought it was extremly sweet!
omg...I guess I'm as nasty as I wanna be...I am usually a nuerotic must-brush-teeth-b4-mouth-opens-in-morning type of gal...but on my last rotation on the relationship merry go round...it did not matter. Now, I dont know if that was just ME becoming more comfortable with myself or because I was ambushed first thing in the morn...BUT i believe if you practice proper hygiene,and have a balanced diet you shouldn't be having major stank breath in the morning..in fact I was told my morning breath was wonderful because I think that morning breath 8 times out of ten is all in ya head.

Before I eat, drink, do anything in the morning it's straight for the toothbrush and toothpaste. It's the last thing I do at night and the first thing in the morning. My pet peeve is people breathing in my face, but mostly that applies to strangers. So kissing my man first thing in the morning isn't a problem for me.
For me...definitely wouldn't be an everyday thing. But it's really sweet when it happens because in the morning this is me RAW...and if you can kiss me in that condition..and i can freely show that layer of me...then who knows what will go down when i clean up, lol. In my most recent relationship, it almost seemed like my sweat turned him on...because after the gym...yes. but n e way. yea it's cute
