It might just be me, but I'm hearing a different Nightfall on this one, I like it.
I agree that status updates are now about what's on our minds and how we're feeling. I'm guilty of using it to say how I feel at times. I feel okay with that though, because the things I post I'm not afraid to say to people's faces. It's when we post it but would never say it, that's what I have issues with.
Some people I think use it to show their emotions, because they can't articulate their feelings in person. That being said, I think some people definitely keep beating a dead horse.
Im a lil turned off to certain aspects of the internet at the moment.That may be the tone your sensing.
