I'm not sure where it happened but when did tucking your ya manhood between ya legs and lettin' women do ANYTHING they want become the "in" thing to do? Now I'm not talking about being a over dominant monster, but I'm seeing waaaaay too much blatant disrespect out there and it's just puzzling to me. Men gettin' screamed at by their women in public, couples out to dinner with the females spending more time on their smart phone then speaking to their dates. Hell, I've seen the FB posts and had to ask, "If your at a dinner why are you on the phone?" Just so many instances where I'm like why the hell aren't you checking this situation!?! You either remove ya self from the situation or you shut it down.
Through trial and error I've learned a lot and can honestly self NO ONE I know would try to openly disrespect me and if they did it would be a 1st and last occurrence. Most people know that I love and respect women but you know what, we all have our place. If I'm with you my attention is owed to you, put the damn phone down and return the respect. If we have an issue in public that isn't a life and death problem. Shut your mouth and keep tight till we're in private.
Some types of disrespect aren't as blatant but still need to be handled. For example, when I see repeatedly DRUNK females I do look to see if there is a man in her camp be it friends, a partner, etc.....cuz again someone needs to check this. Maybe it's just me but I'm not gonna to be out and let someone close to me get wasted on a regular basis. If it's a birthday maybe or some special celebration but getting tore down just cuz it's Thursday isn't flattering at all.
I don't know maybe this is a bit of a ramble/rant but it is what it is. I think I'm just feeling much more firm with letting folk know what they can and can't get away with.

I agree and at some point it's about self respect as well.
I agree with you on this one. If I'm on a date or someone needs to talk to me (needs a shoulder), the phone goes on silent and is at the bottom of my purse.
As for being drunk, I don't see the appeal in it either. I've been a little buzzed from alcohol, but never drunk. I might be a prude for it, but I'd rather be in control of my senses and aware of my whereabouts. It's not cute to me hearing about how drunk people get every single weekend, just because they can.
