Being Efficient While Being Helpful

I've always felts that when you help someone you should be doing so out of a genuine want. You shouldn't aid a person thinking of what you can get in return. With that said, I also feel that you would be  afool to not pay attention to the reactions of those you help out. Time is not a sure thing and in these crazy times you need to make your next move your best move. That means that you have to make the best of your energy and how you direct it. Give, be helpful but if there is a serious imbalance in what you give vs what you get you have every right to alter what you give.

Act like you care......

So earlier in the month I wrote about trimmin' down the amount of I deal with. More so holding my friends accountable for their ends of the friendship. So one of these important folk that I took a big step back from contacted me on Sunday. Well replied to me cause I pushed a happy birthday message to her through her daughter. I'm not rude so if I'm down for you I'll still so some birthday love. Anyway, I got a thank u message and a small back and forth ensued. Basically the 4 months of silence is replied to with I was sending you messages but not getting any reply.......sorry I dont buy it. This person had hit me twice in 4 month and each time was only when I went through her daughter. I mean hell she could have been dead for all I know. So I'ma find out for curiosity sake what was really up and keep it moving. I'm tired of taking friendship more to heart and more seriously then others. Being made to think that because I actually care that much it's the exception to whats normal.
