Screwed for Life?

I just had a short convo with a respected individual about something I saw online. And it resulted in her say this:

lol....misery is a lifelong trait

Short and sweet, but it made me stop for a moment and think. Not just is that a really truthful statement to those existing in that state but it can really serve as quite the warning. People that I know that come across as miserable, for whatever reasons, have been like that for as long as I've known them and really aren't showing any signs of changing. I'm sure in the moment you're not even thinking about it or aware that your this way but then you look at the life you're lived and you finally realize just how you've been for so long. That's a very scary thought if you ask me. You couple that with "Misery likes company" and you get a constantly miserable person that wants to be around YOU to rub that misery off on you. Smh @ that.

In the words of the late great Big Pun.
"I don't know you man.Please....GO THAT WAY!"

birds of a feather flock together..

isn't it funny though...when someone points something out and you begin to realize how obvious it's been and for so long....

you just became so desensitized to it...use to it...and like they say ignorance is bliss...

yes you can definitely MISS me with all that lol

This is true. Misery breeds misery. If you're a happy person and your friend is perpetually miserable... guess what... they'll bring you down.

Maybe not ALL THE WAY down, but they'll definitely diminish your high.

beware

Oh yeah. It's well beyond the time to take account not just for yourself but who you surround yourself with.
