Love can be a noun or a verb. A thing or an Action. I feel as if as a youth it was more a noun and now as a man It has evolved and must now be more action. It must be action beyond the base definitions list above. I feel that we all define the meaning of showing love and weigh the value of it vs. what will each have experienced or done for others.

I remember the first time a female outside of my family told me they loved me.It was friendship love but it major to me. It also gave birth to my "Guardian" tattoo. They said it and showed it. That stuck with me throughout my life. Words alone mean only so much. My wanting to show love on both the friendship and intimate level has taken me to many places and through many situations. It has also created a hell of a lot of work for the showing and action of love expression.

Hearing it is good. It can make you feel all fuzzy inside. But in relation to me wanting to continue to build a life and share that life with someone, I need actions. I'd always say that I've built a nice laundry list of things done for folks that I love. I need my partner to have a lil laundry list of her own for me. That'd be nice.

Nobody loves me :(
jk I'm just being silly..Love has become an action to me to..like I dont think I really need to validate the action of love by hearing it..that would just be icing on the cake.
I've been noticing a pattern here...Love posts..spill the beans..whats really been on your mind??? or BBM me..I'm always around :)

I agree with you G.I. The actions are louder than words f'real, the words are alone aren't enough, actions and words definitely equals ICING! I see you Betty Crocker!

Love is a mental illness...no, I'm kidding...kinda.

Love is pretty amazing. I enjoy loving and being in love. I like to show love and say 'I love you' wayyyy more than I like to receive it. I guess it's the giver in me. I just don't like everything else that comes along with being in love.
Love has become like a puppy to me. Sure, they're cute and cuddly. They give you attention and affection. You get to give it a cool name like Spike or Binx or Fluffy. Everyone loves puppies...but they must be trained, disciplined, walked, fed, etc. They sometimes shit on your carpet. Sometimes they get sick and you have to pay money to take them to the vet. Sometimes when you have guests (and anyone who has a toy/small dog can relate) they go into the hamper and get your dirty...um socks and drag them around the house! So it's like, do you REALLY want the responsibility of a puppy? I don't knock anyone who takes that challenge. I applaud people in love. Hell, I'm kinda jealous. I want a puppy, but for now I'll just visit the pet store and admire them from afar.
