Ok at first it made sense...but then I was lost..or was it meant to sound like random thoughts or tweets...

Well in response to the first perception I had of this blog...I will say that twitter is not just a thing of the "youth" it's a thing of the decade and there is a difference. I had the same thoughts about my need for more privacy so as a result I deleted my twitter. But then I realized I'm in control of what I post and how open I am. so I made a new account that I don't mean to be taken seriously. No one can analyze who I am by my tweets. Other than my diversity in my itunes playlist and maybe a food I like. Twitter too shall pass...just like every other social network that's out there

lol...yeah its just randoming thoughts.

It wasn't twitter specifically I was referencing.Actually facebook sparked that comment but its all relative. My issue with the youth is this. At least those in or around my age group grew up in a time pre "digi-world" we knew what it was to not have a way to blast for thoughts across the globe. No twitter, myspace, no email....so now we(most of us) have a balance and understanding of what to say and what to hold to ourselves.

The youth is growing up in a full disclosure world with more communication options then lessons on how to use then. They do things that while they may grow up and learn from, the results are more far reaching than in previous times.

Social Netowrks will continue to come and go but it's the mindframes I'm concrened about.

Are you saying the tweets aren't thoughts? Or are you saying because it's tweeted it's no longer a thought? Are thoughts meant to stay in your head?

I think it's great that the youth and adults have an outlet. Especially in this day in age where some people keep their thoughts in their head and go insane, shooting up places. If they tweeted it out more or fb status updated more, we might be able to stop them. So for those reasons, I appreciate people not keeping their craziness in their heads.

You don't tweet, but you blog, is there a difference?

I used tweets mere as an example but it relates to all public expressions not merely twitter. I'm not speaking so much for such an example case as going "postal" and even in relation to that remember that kid that commited suicide on cam?

A difference between tweets and blogs?

Um I think its really all individual. You can have shallow generic bloggers and shallow generic tweets. I dont think any is wrong just my view of things. I think some things need not be said period. but thats just me.
