....do I work hard for the glory of the goal I'm pursuing or for the growth that comes during the pursuit. If the desire for a person brings about evolution in a man does it sting any less if his end desire isn't returned. How long do you press on before you simply take the growth for what it is and leave the target alone?

Well... i believe 98% of growth comes during reflection, the end desire only stings if there's an expected desire and the unexpected happens.. a person should press on regardless growth only happens when the target is reached and reflected upon.
