LOL Reading Between the Digital Lines

No matter what Miami is a destination for many on this Labor Day. I've personally seen it at it's ugliest thus refuse to deal with it unless I'm there to get paid. But let me not rain on others parades. The SoBe fun continues for the masses and with that comes tons of images from Collins, Washington and Ocean that show the great time being had. But I cant help but wonder is what we get shown is truly a realistic representation of what folk are doing or merely the best image presented to give off the most glamorous illusion.

Bajan Beaches, Nerd Moments and Dream Revitalization!

I'm officially back from an extended weekend in Barbados with the Omega Nexus Team. We kicked off our "Home Town" presentation in Ascended: The Omega Nexus at AnimeKon 2012 and it was a success on so many levels. We sold out of all of our books as the demand of the crowd would not let up.

The people loved the idea,concept and wanted more. When you're told every reason why folk wouldn't be into a book, what we saw this weekend was very inspiring. Not just in regards to our project but the level of talent and creativity caught me off guard for this genre. Ideas are already swirling around our heads for next years convention. The goal is make sure EVERYONE in attendance knows who we are.....

Being that it was my first time in Barbados I did a bit of sight seeing to take in the beautiful beaches. The crystal clear water was amazing and needs to be a larger part of my regular life routine. It was nice to see the Reece brothers back in their natural environment. The swell up of positive energy really did the job to recharge the guys for the mission ahead. The Omega Nexus has been a part of my life nearly 20 yrs and to see it grow, evolve and reach others with such positive reviews is that proof that you need to know the path you are on is the right one.


 

Long overdue.....Back to the essence........

Last week I attended a family reunion in St. Croix which marked my 1st time back to any of my home islands in nearly 20 yrs. I had no idea it was that long an absence. In the day to day hustle of getting an education, entering the workforce, personal growth and evolution, it would seem I've overlook a key aspect of my overall make up. I've seen my family on a regular basis as they usually visit the states but this time it was the other way around. It felt go to get back to where I'm from......

Final Countdown.......

So the J-O-B ends this week. After Friday it's me, myself and I for a serious reconstruction plan. Some much needed me time to clear the mind and re focus on whats important and vital and very get a good jump on this year. I've got a good ability to see positive in what many my see as negative situations and I'll need that through this process. But in spite of the issues in the job market I'm really looking forward to this.

(I kinda started celebrating my freedom last nite.....too much alcohol but ooooh well.)

Monday Night Ramblington

I've done some of my best work in the cold time to do it again....being more efficient then the people you "work under" sucks balls..........2 tires down 2 more to go.......I still love my truck...........Maybe I can get some ink in time for some of these photo shoots......Blu,Black,Tan...yellow?.......Speechless.Smiling but speechless.......the twizzlers did break......I already know in 2 I'll be hearing "why didn't you tell me".........you're multitasking seems to be lacking when weed isn't involved.....lol, twitter celebrity is still funny......over nearly a decade I got the answer to a long over due question and seeing the answer just make me more angry.......I need to get back to physical writing to balance off the blogging......I'm not feeling my body at the moment.....but that makes for monstrous motivation.....man these wrestlers are getting old......this month is filling up with things to do and places to be rapidly.....Jasmine Cashmere and Mika Tan, does it exist.......Watched some Charlie brown this past weekend so I'm officially in the holiday spirit......Hmmm damn we've been for a while now.......sometimes your in the mood sometimes your not but your last explanation made sense so I understand......"You should take me for Valentines Day".....so said the young single mom I've meant twice in my whole life with the fuck buddy constantly referenced in her BBM status......yeah I was laughing too........I need a new fragrance to try out.....suggestions?.....you get attention for ya curves but ya mind can earn commitment.........turn to Playboy: Bang My Enchilada......***DEAD***.............

QuicC Austin TX ChecC in....

Well folks it's looking like it'll be a low key Saturday.Well, at least until night time.Things have been relatively calm and relaxing. Last evenings dinner was great receiving a solid A grade from me.Last nights official birthday celebration gets an B/B+ grade from me.Things went pretty well with a few minor hiccups towards the end but excessive amounts of alcohol usually result in that. I'm pissed that it feels colder down here then in New York, but it is what it is. LOL, anyway just checCin' in to touch base for the few that may be curious.
