The Communication Today....

I remember when Good Morning and Good Night were automatic with us. Everyday without fail, good or bad we said that. That reach out to make sure the other was ok. That no longer happens. I guess it's the natural progression of life but I miss it and it hurts.

12 Years.......

....is it possible that after 12 yrs things been get better or have they run their course. Well I guess if thought that thing couldnt get better that would severely limit my beliefs on marriage. After 12 yrs I don't know whats possible. They say there is also hope where there is love. So I guess the question is.......is there love?

A Touching Story of Love Everlasting

Let's close out Hump Day with a moving love story......

For one Iowa couple, true love lasted until the very end.

Married 72 years, Norma, 90, and Gordon Yeager, 94, passed away in the hospital holding hands last week, one hour apart.

The couple was hospitalized after a car accident just outside of Marshalltown, Iowa. They were given a shared room in the ICU where they held hands in adjacent beds.

At 3:38 pm last Wednesday, Gordon's breathing stopped. Though he had passed, his heart monitor continued to register a beat.

The nurse told Gordon and Norma's son, Dennis Yeager, that the monitor was beeping "because they're holding hands, and [Norma's heart beat] is going through them," Dennis recalled in an interview with Des Moines' KCCI news station. "Her heart was beating through him."

Norma passed at 4:38 pm, exactly one hour later.

Gordon and Norma's children say they're glad the couple passed this way. "They just loved being together," says Dennis. "He always said, 'I can't go until she does because I gotta stay here for her.' And she would say the same thing."

Fun w/ Words

Keeping in the spirit of Hump Day Here's a Another dose of verbal seduction via Kream!

The way I crave you sometimes is like a drug, I just need one more hit to last a few hours.
Now I know how people become addicts. To be without that high, is so tough.
You are the drug in my veins, you numb all the pain - yet you bring your own set of drugs into my veins, which I gladly welcome as I deny I am already an addict.
Denial is really the first step, but who wants rehab when this addiction feels so intense?
Its bad as I feel your needle injecting me slowly, that initial pain in unbearable but, I do it because I know i’m just a few seconds away from serene ecstasy. As you inject me, I can feel your drug running through me, knowing all I want is you to fully release IN me.
As I start to feel the high from your release you tell me “dont move, enjoy that right there” as you slowly pull the needle out. I smile as I am now sure you have released all that drug inside me.
With the kiss of your lips to mine, I hear your accent whisper into my ear “This means yuh belong to mi” as I shake my head yes, we make eye contact and you say “mi mean it” - Yes, this I know. Giving me one last kiss before the next hit….

Longest Married Couple in the World

Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher have an extraordinary story to tell.  They’ve been married for 86 years. Together, they endured the Great Depression, World War II, the Korean War, Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam, they have seen the impact of the Civil Rights Movement, watched man land on the moon, the dropping of the atomic bomb, lived through the terms of 15 presidents and still live to tell about it.  But there are many centenarians for whom the same holds true so what makes Herbert and Zelmyra so extraordinary?  Throughout everything, they have remained married.
Married on May 13, 1924, 105-year old Herbert, and 103-year-old Zelmyra do not pretend to know any secrets to a lasting marriage.  They have been married longer than any known living couple, had five children and have watched countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren come into the world.  They are a sweet, aging pair that will tell you truthfully that they were married because Zelmyra “did not give [Herbert] any trouble” and Herbert “was not much to look at… [but] he was quiet and kind.”  After 86 years, they remain in the home where they raised their five children, sleep in different bedrooms and love each other all the same.  They hold the world record for length of marriage for two living persons.  Is your union built to last the test of time?
Marriage Advice:
Question: You got married very young – how did u both manage to grow as individuals yet not grow apart as a couple?
Answer: Everyone who plants a seed & harvests the crop celebrates together. We are individuals, but accomplish more together.
Question: At the end of bad relationship day, what is the most important thing to remind yourselves?
Answer: Remember marriage is not a contest – never keep a score. God has put the two of you together on the same team to win.
