In the midst of the "Month of Me" I have to take this time to express my heartfelt love and admiration for this young woman. As one of my dearest friends we've had so many great memories. Through good, bad, ups and downs I've been truly blessed to have you in my life. It's hilarious to think back on the initial interactions that led to our friendship and now you know there's nothing I wouldn't do for you.

On this your Birthday I wish you nothing but happiness, joy, love and peace. I will always be here for you Jillz. Have an amazing birthday!!!!!

Just when I needed it....

Had a lil catching up chat with Mz.J. We've let the sumer slightly derail our respective self improvement plans BUT we've been still keeping busy and the year is showing real dividends for us both. I love hearing that my people are doing well. And it feels great to get an unexpected "you were just on my mind" type call from a person. Stuff like that actually means more to me then any of the larger scale things I my do for others. I'm low maintenance on a social level.

And with that on my mind I think I need to refocus on me and those that actually make there presence felt in my life and not worry about those that treat my friend as more of a convenience. Or those that simply have me lower on their priority scale than I have them. It's like I say, people don't forget you they choose not to interact with you. Because if they felt they could gain from you or if they needed you then they don't hesitate to reach out. And friendship shouldn't be so one sided.

Anyway, it's friday......y'all enjoy it.

The time is here and now!!!!Today it is a celebration of a grand proportions!!!This the born day of my super friend Jillian aka Mz.J aka Jillz aka Ms Goodfellas West aka Mz. South by SouthWest.
I love this person for her constant support, energy and compassion that is the true definition of friendship. Plus she's a drinker just like me. From Arizona to Miami to New York and now Texas we been doing it up and we plan to set the bar even higher once again.

Let me say this is in no uncertain terms. Outside of family this is one of the most important people to me walking this planet and this birthday is going to be reflective of that. She sparked the Operation Improve U plan that we are now nearly a 1/4 done with. And it time to not just celebrate the new direction and focus on change, but to just appreciate those people you have around you.
