So "The King" would Eliminate the NETS as an NBA Team???
"Imagine if you could take Kevin Love off Minnesota and add him to another team and you shrink the [league],” James said Thursday. “Looking at some of the teams that aren’t that great, you take Brook Lopez or you take Devin Harris off these teams that aren’t that good right now and you add him to a team that could be really good. Not saying let’s take New Jersey and let’s take Minnesota out of the league. But hey, you guys are not stupid, I’m not stupid, it would be great for the league.”
Interesting to hear this from him but hey who am I to speak.........

What Should He Do???? LBJ's new Nike Spot
Honestly I like the commercial. There legit questions. At the same time is it simple questioning or is Lebron trying to play Victim. I think L.James has realized that he's in a no win situation until he gets a ring...maybe until he gets a couple.

In the Midst of Lebron Fever...My NY Pride is Higher then Ever......

The following is from NY Sports Writer Frank Isola and it sums up my feelings perfectly.
We begin the day by thanking Patrick Ewing, a real franchise player and warrior who left it on the court every time he wore a Knicks uniform.
Was he perfect? No. When I see him I still tell him he has the worst hands of any all-time great player. Was he easy to cover as a reporter? Not all the time. He could be a pain in the rear but he was always honest and he always accepted responsibility for his and the team's performance.
Think about that today as we struggle to deal with LeBron James' decision to leave Cleveland in his rear view mirror and head to Miami to play the role of Scottie Pippen to Dwyane Wade's Michael Jordan.
It's clear now that LeBron had no intentions of signing with the Knicks regardless of how many times he wore a Yankees cap in public. New York would have meant pressure. Staying in Cleveland would have meant pressure and as we know LeBron, unlike Ewing, cannot handle the pressure.

Could This Be NY's Plan For the Summer of James???e

I'm really going to sit and watch how this all plays out because their are too many intangibles at play here. In the meantime ESPN took a crack at what they feel is Gotham's best approach to getting Lebron. Thoughts
It's the question the NBA world has been debating since Donnie Walsh took over the New York Knicks in April 2008 and vowed to clear salary-cap space to lure free agents to the Big Apple: Do the Knicks have a realistic shot at landing LeBron James?
Twenty-five months later, we still don't know.
We know about the Cavaliers' built-in advantages when it comes to keeping James, even if he chooses to become a free agent this summer, as expected: He is a local hero for a winning team, and in Cleveland he can make a higher salary for more years than elsewhere.
We know that the Bulls can make the case to LeBron that his future would be brightest in Chicago, given their young, athletic talent -- and that the Nets can say the same of New Jersey and Brooklyn, with a Russian billionaire and a hip-hop legend able to offer a unique combination of international appeal and street cred.
More after the jump.

As the Celtics and Magic get ready for a Eastern Conference rematch with both team at full strength, I can imagine Lebron is working on more pregame dance moves.....

It's worth a try.....

So the Cav's are going to bet it all on Shaq securing Lebron's future in Cleveland. It's worth a shot but mark my words now. Cleveland is not getting to the finals next season either.
**Full Story Here**
CLEVELAND -- LeBron and Shaq: Two of the NBA's biggest stars are now teammates.
The Cleveland Cavaliers completed a blockbuster trade Thursday, bringing superstar center Shaquille O'Neal from the Phoenix Suns to join current MVP LeBron James.
The Cavaliers hope they are creating a basketball duo with the drawing power of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar -- or even Shaq and Kobe Bryant.
Each of those pairs won multiple NBA titles. The Cavs would settle for their first.

Last time on "The King"

First it was the snub of Dwight Howard and then the silly interview then followed. Then it was the "look at me" MVP shirt following the Lakers title win. It's never good to harp on any topic so with the NBA draft approaching I'm done with the Lebron talk. It's said that,
"Champions are defined by how they handle adversity more so then triumph."
Just something to think about while peeping Lebron humble "$TATS" shirt....but who's heard of a humble young, black multi-millionaire.
