The First Of Many.....

This weekend was a big moment for the Omega Nexus. We were in town for the 2013 East Coast Black Age Comic Convention and the night before we were in attendance at the 2013 Glyph Awards to accept the Fan Favorite Award. This is our first award win and as we all said, it will not be our last.

I'm super thankful you to the people to came through to support especially those that took time out of their schedules to travel to Philadelphia just for us. Nothing moves me more then the dedication of time. Everyone has things to do, everyone has their own concerns. When in the midst of your own world you stop think about and remember what someone else is working hard for and you elect to genuinely support that, there's nothing great in my eyes. So again, thanks for the tweets, texts, etc in support of the Omega Nexus this weekend.

There's a lot coming this year so stay tuned..........

Always on Time

Just as I'm starting to feel a way about this job hunt god drops something in my lap and **BOOM** I'm back in the saddle. More opportunities, more focus, the story continues. I needed a boost and this was perfectly timed.

Always on time!! (Belated B Day Post)

In the midst of my running around I had the pleasure of dropping by the homie Frankie aka the texthibitionist bday party get together in manhattan. Her gang of girl were already a few drinks in but all was good when I came thru. To my surprise the birthday girl actually had a gift for me that she wasn't able to get to me last month. So I was presented with DC COMIC COVERGIRLS which is basically an art book that shows the history of DC COMICS female characters.


It's a 100% nerd item and I loved it. Thanks again Frankie for the gift and ya cool as friends. Anytime a person ends up saying "I'm never drinkinging again" you know it was a good time.

Again thanks for the bithday love it was mega appreciated and a total surprise.

Silver lining?

..in the midst of this horrid jumble of emotions currently in me, I came across this. Something that was small and unexpected that meant the world to me. It takes so little to put a smile on my face. Thank you.God is good.
