Staying Focused......

One of my biggest my personal goals for this year is to truly hold folk accountable for how they act towards me. As I gear my energy towards a number of major goals I just can't have the fickle attitudes around me. It's not a statement that I want friendships to end or anything like that but the fact is everyone doesn't deserve the same level of "ME" that I constantly give to them. It's one thing to be a busy person, I can understand that as much as anyone but it's when folk clearly have their priorities elsewhere that a change must come. The flow of energy needs to be a balanced cycle yet It's often steadily supplied by me while it gets returned in smaller random spurts from others. The true problem in this equation is ME. It's me because the folk I allow to do this are not strangers to me. I know how they are yet have always hoped adulthood would result in a change in priorities. Not so much. Age just seems to be cementing the suspect acts in place.

In the end everyone is not going to see things or do things the way I feel they should be done. Regardless of common sense, logic or just basic respect, it's important for my to remember just how different perspectives can be. So, I'm locked in on me and how I'm be doing things now. I'm looking forward to it.

Back In Business!!!!!

After a number of set backs, mishaps and unforeseen issues, The Omega Nexus will be dropping this month. Here's some info in preparation....

All Omega Nexus related tweeting will be handled via @TheOmegaNexus. This Monday we will be opening The Omega Nexus group page on Facebook. It will be our space for news, feedback & interaction w/ the people. It will be a space not just about the ON but for all direct conversations about the genre of comics, fantasy, fiction art, story telling, etc.... Once the page opens Monday a link will be provided and invites sent out. We will be previewing the 1st 1/3 of the book ever couple of weeks into the summer. So if you don't want to pick up the book when it drops feel free to check how it starts.

 I again must really say thanks to those that stuck with us. I can promise you that you wont regret it. Again follow @TheOmegaNexus to stay connected. Memories in the Future

Random Thoughts Towards The Future.

When looking for big picture life potential in a person what do you look for. Or perhaps I should ask what do you ideally want? Exit the Ideal and enter Reality. What do you see in the people around you? I’ve held this thought that I’ve already met my wife but I may not know it yet….or maybe I know it but haven’t realized it yet. Either way what do I see around me that a wife would need to have? I’m blessed to have earned the friendship of a few great women so I look at their traits and say to myself “Yeah I hope my wife has some of that.” Do women do that? Look at guy friends and analyze their husband-like potentials? I think we all very easily can say what you like in a person but as time goes on I think you too more clearly see what you don’t like and honestly realize what things you can’t or won’t compromise on that you require in your life.

I think personally, that I have such a high level of value on marriage and that type of commitment that it has me that much more patient in prepping for that stage of life. I truly intend on a one shot deal. No multiple wives for me so when it’s that time it must be right. It’s more then just Love to make it work. That’s one of the biggest life lessons that I’ve learned. There is a need for finance in romance, along with timing and desire. Interest brings you to the door, love keeps you their but there are so many other factors that make it possible to succeed. You can truly love someone that you can’t have a fully successful relationship with. How hard must that be to accept?

That’s truly why we say that there’s someone for everyone. We many times base it on the physical but that lesser attractive person may be the only one that makes you smile or the only to be able to check you when your on some b.s. There’s no script to it.

The Audi A9 concept is a stylish proposal for a luxury sports saloon which was developed by the talented Spanish designer Daniel Garcia. Garcia's previous work includes the Ducati 6098 R concept from 2009.

The A9 concept would be positioned higher than Audi's current flagship model, the A8, and is aimed at other top-end luxury saloons like the Porsche Panamera, and if it ever went into production, the Lamborghini Estoque.

The single-piece windscreen and roof is formed from an as-yet undiscovered nanotechnology material which features an automatic-system for repairing damage, and it can also be adjusted for color and opacity. The bodywork of the Audi A9 concept also features a unique 'electronic painting' system which means the vehicle's color can be changed at the touch of a button.

The proposed drivetrain for the A9 concept is an advanced hybrid setup which uses an internal combustion engine working in conjunction with four in-wheel electric motors.

The Looming Battle for Gotham City

I bleed Orange and Blu.During good and bad times I will not change my loyalties. From Ewing and Starks to Chandler and Lee I rep my team, but I'm not blind to the ailments and toxic management/ownership that has poisoned my team for the past decade. James Dolan and his Cablevision piggy bank has been a bane on any real attempts of reviving the New York franchise. Recent moves have put NY in a promising position this summer but nothing is set in stone. I'll believe it when I see it.

In the meantime I sit and watch the storm brewing on the horizon. Sweeping in is a Russian hurricane with nearly $10 billion of creative, confident energy. And in his own words, new Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov has NYC in his cross hairs.

Putting the pieces in play.....

As much as I like to plot and plan and put myself in the best position for success and reduce negativity, sometimes the best plan is no plan. Right now life is dictating the removal or at the least the serious reorganization of the people I have put my energy into for sometime. Some have taken stances that brought this about, others have gone beyond the acceptable limit of repeating past actions 1 time too many. Yes the friends are starting to thin out. We'll see exactly who is with me soon enough.

So who's your back plan?

During a conversation with an old friend. I was asked "who's your backup plan?" I said "Huh" and she clarified "Who do you have if you get too old and haven't gotten married or had kids yet?" I was surprised by how serious she was about that question, but before answering she tailed off into a series of complements that concluded with "You better not waste your genes." But anyway, the point of this is that I've heard this before from a few people in regardless to having an age cut-off point and a person or persons that would hypothetically be willing to get together if other things don't happen naturally.

Now I've heard this said in jest and I've heard from folks that were dead serious about it. So tell me, is this a legit concept that's out there for this generation so we don't "waste our genes?

I do what I want........

Ok so here's my mind set right now.6 days to my bday and to combat the bullshit that's been poppin up, I'm now officially in birthday celebration mode.6 days of light hearted pre bday enjoyment, giving thanks for another year next Thursday and then another 12 days of celebration. It'll be fun and also very informative. The guy that jumps out the window for everyone else will be a lil selfish a lil self centered you know. The incorrect assumptions, high and mighty attitudes and indirect "blahzay" vibes and the "its all about me" personalities can be kept to y'all selves. It's my time of the year and I plan to recharge and re-energize.All of which will culminate in Austin, TX.

The next 2 1/2 weeks will contain good company, good food, good drink, quality music, love and affection.If you're not willing to add to that simplistic equation then I hope you stay silent.
