R.I.P BIG TRUCK SERIES
As I removed my plates from my baby it was bitter sweet. Good to free myself of financial strain that came with the maintenance of my truck but for the decade plus worth of good times I couldn't help but feel sad.
From New Ro to Philly to Upstate to Florida to Georgia......You never failed me outside of these NY state lines and even in your later yrs you did well by me. I don't know what will become of you now, but you will be missed.

Before Rumors got too crazy, The "talk" gets Confirmed.Swizz & Alicia starting a family.
Not the best mental picture of these two gettin' it in but in the end Love never is what we imagine. I never would have guess this is how it'd happen but for them and that child I hope things work out.

Think about It Before You Leave....
As I take a moment to reflect on things. I think of the various people, mainly females who have come and gone in my life. More so, I'm thinking of those that pop up, chill, then disappear for whatever reason for extended periods of time and then just pop up again and everything is all peaches and cream. I used feel and I guess I still feel somewhat that people are going to interact that are meant to meet. But right now I think that period of time of always keeping the door open is steadily closing.
Now some might say, "Yo your changing the game in the 9th inning. How can you close the door that you've always kept open." That thing about it is that, keeping a door open on a personal level isn't a right. It's a service and privilege that I'm offering.
See, if life is getting hard and you need to fall back and handle things then that's more then understandable. Do what you gotta do and as a friend I'll be here. BUT, if you disappear cause some guy pops into the picture and you can't return a call or send a text then um no it's required that I keep a welcome mat out for you.
Do others as you would want them to do to you.Very simple.I've seen folk Enter and Exit based on whats was the most convenient for them and at times it's pretty selfish. So I guess it''s like this right now. If you choose to fade away....I might not let you return.....

Me and She
2002
Ok so for years on my online travels I've written and chronicled many of the things that have effected me and played a major role in the man I've grown to be. Well this woman has played a PIVOTAL role in that. Everyone has a person that gets to them, that at times can be both your strength and/or your weakness. She's that individual to me. It's a hell of friendship and I wouldn't have it any other way. We've had mega Ups and Super down but for whatever reason we're always bound to cross paths and make sure the other is good.
The references I make to "Lonelynites", in all honesty, she was as directly responsible for that in her own way as any single person. Long story but the end result is me being who I am today, so its good. The Love is super strong and beyond words, which says something considering how wordy I am. It's a Me and Her thing I guess. Anyway, Pix and a Vid of our randomness during her NY visit. Its an Online view of my Offline world.....

Pulling Happiness from Hopelessness
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (June 19) --
Colby Curtin got her final wish.
The 10-year-old girl desperately wanted to see the new Disney-Pixar movie, "Up." But the cancer-stricken girl was too sick to go to a theater.
Thanks to a family friend who got in touch with the movie studio Pixar, an employee of the Emeryville-based company arrived at Colby's home with a DVD copy of the movie, The Orange County Register reported Friday. The girl died later that night.
Colby's mother, Lisa, said she had asked her daughter if she could hang on until the movie arrived.
"I'm ready (to die), but I'm going to wait for the movie," she said her daughter replied.
"Up" is the animated tale of a grumpy old man who, after his wife's death, tries to fulfill their joint dream of visiting South America by tying thousands of balloons to his house and floating away.
"When I watched it, I had really no idea about the content of the theme of the movie," Colby's mother told the Register. "I just know that word 'Up' and all of the balloons and I swear to you, for me it meant that (Colby) was going to go up. Up to heaven."
Colby, who was diagnosed with vascular cancer in 2005, saw previews for the film in April.
"It was from then on, she said, 'I have to see that movie. It is so cool,'" family friend Carole Lynch said.
But the girl's health began to deteriorate. On June 4, Curtin asked a hospice company to bring a wheelchair so that her daughter could go to a movie theater but the chair was not delivered over the weekend, Curtin said.
By June 9, Colby was too sick to go anywhere.
Another family friend, Terrell Orum, called both Pixar and Disney, which owns the animation studio. The message was received by Pixar officials, who agreed to send someone to Colby's house the next day with a copy of "Up" for a private screening, Orum said.
The employee arrived with the DVD, stuffed animals of characters and other movie memorabilia.
Colby was unable to open her eyes to see the movie so her mother described the scenes. When her mother asked if she enjoyed it, the girl nodded, Curtin said.
The Pixar employee left after the movie, taking the DVD, which has not been released. Lynch, who was with the family during the screening, said the employee's "eyes were just welled up."
A call to Pixar seeking comment was not immediately returned Friday.
Colby, with her parents nearby, died later that night.
Her mother said one of the memorabilia left by the Pixar employee was an "adventure book" based on a scrapbook that, in the movie, is kept by the wife of the main character.
"I'll have to fill those adventures in for her," Lisa Curtin said of her daughter.

Not a happy fitness guy........
I want to say Loud and Clear that Bally's Total Fitness can kiss my ass!!!!
I just get word that the Bally's in my town that I've been a member of for 10 yrs is closing in 1 week. I've put close to $3000 into that gym adn now due there 1/2 ass business and accounting practices, which has had them in chapter 11 since 2007 they make this bullshit move. The nearest Bally's total fitness clubs are at least 2 towns away. When I get home from Connecticut I have no desire to drive all the way to Yonkers, Portchester or the damn Bronx to workout. I'm 5 mins. from the gym. It was the embodiment of convenience. This isn't going to stop my fitness plans you can believe that. But at the moment I'm pissed beyond belief.
The only people that are smiling now are the owners of the New York Sports Club that opened up right next door.

Damn....RIP
Wayman Tisdale died this morning at the age of 44 after battling cancer for the last 2 years. Damn he was one of the NBA's real good guys.
The Associated Press
Former Oklahoma great Tisdale dies at 44
By MURRAY EVANS – 23 minutes ago
Wayman Tisdale, a three-time All-American at Oklahoma who played 12 seasons in the NBA, died after a two-year battle with cancer. He was 44.
Tisdale died Friday morning at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, hospital spokeswoman Joy McGill said.
After three years at Oklahoma, Tisdale played in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns. The 6-foot-9 forward, with a soft left-handed touch on the court and a wide smile off it, averaged 15.3 points for his career. He was on the U.S. team that won the gold medal in the 1984 Olympics.
After basketball, he became an award-winning jazz musician, with several albums making the top 10 on the Billboard charts.
"Wayman Tisdale is one of the best people I have ever had the privilege of knowing," Oklahoma coach Jeff Capel said in a statement. "He had an incredible gift of making the people who came in contact with him feel incredibly special."
Tisdale's death was announced on the Oklahoma Senate floor Friday by Senate Majority Leader Todd Lamb, who led the chamber in prayer.
"Whether you're a Cowboy or a Sooner, Oklahoma has lost a great ambassador," Lamb said. "He was a gifted musician, a gifted athlete and he just wore that well wherever he went."

It's so Hard to Say Good Bye: Hump Day Edition
I'd like to take this moment to say farewell to two Hump worthy ladies. Ms. Lauren London and Ms. Alicia Keys.
While i know shes done other things, Lauren = "New New" to me. I never found her ultra sexy drop dead beautiful but attractive in an every day gurl, low maintenance type of way.Like she'd be just as cute waking up in the morning as she is out and about. But as these "Preg with Lil Wayne's baby" reports swirl through the internets I must take a step back. You will be missed on this day.
Now this one is tuff.Ms Keys has been BEYOND Hump worthy to me for nearly a decade so it's with a heavy hear that I release her. I don't know what it is but you ever just have something or find out something that effects the way your see or view a person. Well in this scenario I still hold Ms Keys as the incredible talent and genuine person she is BUT the this whole Alicia/Mashonda/Swizz thing just gives me a funny feeling in my stomach. So while the facts have yet to surface I know enough of the matter that..I gotta let her go.Ms. Keys your music will continue to get HEAVY rotation but no longer can I post her within the realm of Humppington. You will be missed.
