What was "My Month" Like????

As the first day of April fades away and a 24 hr span of poorly executed April fools jokes are gone, I take a moment to reflect on the month that was.....the "Month of Me". I can say that this year was a very strong March month. My first Birthday month with me being fully entrenched in the Nomadness Tribe and please believe they showed me so much love and had a few surprises for my that definitely left me at a loss for words. Truthfully, with the monster Nomadness RV Kickstarter campaign running thru the 1st 1/2 of the month I didn't really worry about myself too much. There were people I wanted to see that I didn't. In some cases I understood why, in others I was just like -_____- but in the midst of various MIA issues a few folk, some I had kind of written off made a point to step up, apologize and really, really let me know things I have been curious about for years. When I felt under appreciated I wasn't crazy. It took yrs but being told that "Yes, Jason I took for granted the fact that you'd always be here and I'm not doing that ever again." meant a lot. As I tell people I dont do what I do for any personal gain but I'm still human. No one what's to feel that their efforts are undervalued.

So yeah, another March in the books. Full of all the fun and foolishness that life could dish out to me. April is here with warming weather (hopefully) and the Nomadness RV Tour kicking off in 2 weeks. It's only getting better.

What a week.....

This week as been a jumble of financial ups & downs, issues of hurt friends, dealing with once friends turned nuisances and new friends and bonds. An interesting week to say that least but as the Month of Me creeps toward us I'm not mad. There's a calm that comes in weathering storms and being able to look back, smile and keep on with the business at hand without missing a beat. Some things are unfortunate but I think god has a way of helping us sort though the mess and put everyone in the space they need to be. No blood, no harm, no foul.....well some shit was a lil foul but that's not my laundry to deal with. The year 2012 has NOT disappointed in the realm surprises. So whats next....

The Difference Makers......

Many people think that us men are very base, emotionless, superficial creatures. It's believed that early statements from Semi (Arsenio Hall) in Coming to America, really is the basic male mind set.

Yuuuuup that's all we need. I position of authority and a pretty, stacked female to share it with.

Yeeeaaaah um not so much. Not that the physical aspects don't factor in but the truth is life far from perfect. And when its all said and done you may have been more physically attracted to one person but the individual you end up with brings something to the table creatively and mentally that differentiates them from the others.

The Month of ME!!!!!!!!

Originated in 2001, my college classmates jumped off endless birthday celebrations that stretch from March well into April. It was the best feeling ever to be the focus of such activity. Yes you don't need a REASON to get college kids drinking and acting out but let me live ok!?!?



Anyway, there have been many great birthday moments since that but I feel that with me being in transition between jobs now is as good a time as anyone to revisit that nostaligic vibe.

Now granted, everyone from school is out and about their personal business.....kids, relationships, work, etc,etc....so I have to create the mood myself. :)

This should be fun.
