No One's Done it Enough To Say Your Wrong....
The Tribe looks out again as fellow member Ms K.D Isaacs sent me an invite to a media panel and screening of Lebron James new cartoon "The Lebrons" which is an animated spin off of his successful Nike commercials. After viewing some of the clips, two gentlemen from Believe Entertainment Mr. Dan Goodman and William Masterson spoke on how they made the connection with Lebron James to get this show rolling and on a larger scale how the media field is changing regarding the delivery of content. They said a lot to fuel what I'm pushing with the Omega Nexus.
One of the standout comments they made was "If you believe in what you have, don't let anyone tell you're wrong."
Basically the industry is evolving so quickly that no one has been doing "it" long enough to tell you that your wrong. Signs keep pointing forward and I'm not stopping with this. Great info and networking indeed.

Tribe in the Media: Ebony Gets Familiar w/ Evie & Steph speaks from South Africa
Ebony Magazine online takes a look at the topic of International travel within the young Black community and guess who they reference on the subject matter? This is another good look for Evita Robinson's who's fresh off an emotional follow up Interview with Toronto's own Vice And Vegas Show.
“I think there is a misconstrued, automatic assumption that traveling is expensive and something that isn't accessible to Black communities,” says Evita Robinson, the founder of Nomad•ness TV
With Evie keeping things rolling over here. Stephanie checks in from South Africa in this recently released interview piece from the Nubian Drifter. These ladies stay grinding for real........

When Girl Meets Girl
Well this is interesting to wake up to. Business woman on the rise Evita Robinson got a nice Hump Worthy mention over on Clutch Magazine's site. Their talking "Girl Crushes" and I'm not mad.
Just about every woman has one. It’s what most men’s sordid sexual fantasies are made of, but they have little to do (maybe) with our own actual attraction. It’s that ‘thing’ that has broken through your otherwise heteronormative way of being. Urban Dictionary defines this phenomenon as, “An overwhelming sense of awe felt by a girl for another girl elicited by varying causes ranging from deep respect to unadulterated lust. May result in any or all of the following: general euphoria, prolonged sense of inspiration, desire for intellectual-intercouse with crush, simple sexual arousal.” Yep, a real live ‘girl crush.’ - Jayne Dirt
Check out the full article here.
**UPDATE**
Apparently EVERYONE loves Evita as she just landed in another sexy traveler themed write up. Peep This!

Evita Robinson Presents The Nomadness Travel Tribe 1st NYC Meet-Up
You ever have a moment when you realized that “IT” was going down? Have you ever had your long time faith and belief in something or someone justified in a manner that even you can’t fully say you envisioned? Well, that was the feeling I had last night at Evita’s exclusive members only Nomadness Travel Tribe NYC meet up. This travel group, currently 300+ members strong and only 3 weeks old decided to not merely connect via the Internets but bridge the digital gap and actually vibe in person. I arrived 2 hours into the event just as Evita had finished her introductory speech. After making a special presentation to another phenomenal friend of this blog, Stephanie, the night of networking, building and bonding continued. Black, Brown, White, Men, Women all together as if they had been friends for years. We shared stories and told and/or showed each other our personal projects. It was amazing.
You see, in the midst of all this I had a flash back to late 2002/early 2003 as I was finishing my schooling at IONA. During her freshman year Evita and I became friends and I quickly became her biggest supporter. I never asked for anything I just enjoyed being a part of the process. At the time it was focused around for poetry so It may have been me driving her between Iona and CMR to get busy on the mic. Or an impromptu recording session for that rumored spoken word EP that’s floating around. Either way I knew I was around something great. While chillin’ with my boys approaching my graduation I was asked “Hey why don’t you holla at Evita?” It was an honest question but little did I know how dead on I would be with my answer. I replied. “That girl has major things in her future. She's not someone I wanna bog down trying to get with. I don’t know what but she’s gonna be something special and being able to give legit friendship and support is fine with me.” 8 years later her force of will is literally reaching around the world.
I’ve been bouncing around the Internets since late 1998. I’ve seen/heard a lot. As the technology evolved and the World Wide Web socialized into the standard form of communication, I’ve seen a depressing trend of using this medium to broadcast the absolute worst thing of our society. Yesterday was that much needed reinforcement that perhaps these horror stories of shameless women and boys in men’s bodies truly are the minority case being screamed out to the masses by the disgruntled few? Last night I saw the truth. Evita provided that to me and to the people. The good black men, the truly respectable women are right here. Not hiding, not on some secluded island. Folk are just too stuck in their ass backwards mentalities to see us……tough break. This is a group that successful meshes youthful energy, experience, business savvy, passion, creativity, drive and it’s all wrapped up in quite the attractive package in my humble opinion.
The possibilities are endless and I’m glad to have a front row seat to witness that magic.
Evierobbie Media, Nomadness TV, Nomadness Travel Tribe……Evita Turquoise Robinson, get familiar. I’ve been telling y’all for years now. ;)

Someone's Always Watching, But That's Not Always a Bad Thing
The world is shrinking and in turn the eyes is able to take in more and more of what is happening around it. All of our moves are seen. Some folk have a larger viewership then others but we ALL are seen. The energies you put out, the vibes you release, the path you walk may be to you a seem private but the world is aware of it. Now once the eyes capture your deeds, how it passes that off into the mind differs from person to person and it's a crap shoot if those thoughts flow into any kind of communicative form. I tell Evita all the time, that she "always has eyes watching her", which I think she has known and recently embraced more then ever. As it relates to me, I get examples, flashes of unexpected gratitude and appreciation that always come at the right time and hit the spot.
While my interpretations of Nightfall come from the outside looking in, I’m well aware that the praise, respect and love one receives from those around him speaks very highly of a man’s character. As someone who is obviously cherished greatly by those he loves, Nightfall has earned his kudos. - Jade
What makes this a lil different is that it's an indirect observation turned respective statement. When the people I deal with say "thank you" it's all love. It's never expected but it's understandable. But when such an exclamation comes from the friend of a friend it's a totally different type of surprise. More eyes are watching then I was aware of. And while I dip between the light and the comfort of the shadows, it's comforting to know that what is being seen by the people is a positive image.
I say all that to say this.....Click here for a touching piece brought to you by Jade Via Kream
And again I say thank you....

BIG's "10 Crack Commandments" @ Academy of American Poets in NYC
I'm sure there are many poets and scholars that would consider this blasphemy but on the flip side you'd have to be blind to ignore the overwhelming way in which Hip Hop has worked it's way into the fabric of America's expressive mediums. Holding Christopher Wallace as one of our times greatest poets, Adrien Brody recites the classic street instructional, 10 Crack Commandments.
